Bioengineer cell- and gentechnology
Lars graduated in 2019 and started working as Innovation Manager at Flanders’ FOOD in early 2020, where he quickly became acquainted with the diversity of the food industry. With his knowledge about microbiology, he is an asset for the team working in the program ‘World Class Food Production’.
As Innovation Manager, he focuses on collaboration and promotes it with his open and honest way of communicating. The Flemish food industry is at the top and he wants to retain that position.
When Lars is not at work, he is probably playing sports. He likes to watch when OHL are playing a match, but you can also catch him kicking the ball around himself quite often. He also loves to kick back and enjoy a good meal.
