Innovative (pre) pomace valorization process
Improve is a European business research project in ERANET - SUSFOOD2. The project's objective is to completely valorise the apple, pear, cherry and cucumber pressed cake by, among others, using green extraction technologies. The main idea is to find a simple valorisation slope that is fast and easy to implement in the business world.
This is a business project coordinated by Konings NV with the following partners:

- foreign partners: University of Pisa, University of Nottingham, University College Dublin Institute of Food and Health, University medical Center Freiburg, Tallinn University of Technology
As a subcontractor, Flanders’ FOOD helps Konings find new business partners and business cases with the newly generated by-products or raw materials in the project.
